SilverFit Mile

Gait training on a treadmill is a common component of many rehabilitation protocols. Of course, walking on a treadmill walk is much less entertaining than walking through nature or the local city centre. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to go out for a walk with people. The SilverFit Mile allows you to recreate the experience of walking outside as closely as possible.

The SilverFit Mile can be installed on your existing treadmill. A projector beams a virtual environment on a sceen in front of the treadmill. This gives the participant the feeling of actually walking through the surroundings.

The large projection screen is eye-catching and looks wonderful in your rehabilitation centre. This is especially true for the patient on the treadmill, who can imagine himself being in Rome, in the forest, or in the local city centre. The images are not animated, but custom created film footage. This creates a surrounding that is very realistic.

The SilverFit Mile can be set to different walking speeds. The length of the walk can also be set. The starting point can be set randomly, or it can be the same every time; this is esepcially attractive for patients in memory care facilities.
