SilverFit Newton

Exercise overview

The SilverFit Newton contains exercises and games in four categories, as well as objective outcome tests and video analysis

Number

Number of repetitions: this category contains exercises for which time and speed are not relevant. Only the number of repetitions counts.

Timed

Time-based exercises: the participant has to complete the exercise within a certain time limit.

RhythmRhythm-based exercises require the participant to train in a certain rhythm of flexion and extension. The excentric and concentric movement can be set to be symmetrical or asymetrical.

Dynamic

The dynamic exercises require a participant to continuously react to what happens on screen. Every repetition will have different range of motion and speed requirements.

In each of these categories, the Newton contains both games and more traditional exercises. The system mesaures the number of series, repetitions, recuperation time, and the required range of motion. These data are used to povide detailed feedback to the user.

TestThe test category contains a number of standardized objective outcome tests, such as Range of Motion test, a Repetition Maximum (RM) test, and a Symmetry test.

Video2_butThe video options allow you to make video recordings of your patient and jointly analyze and review these later.
